Bagdogra, 10th February: On Saturday, the Eastern Command Investiture Ceremony 2024 was held at Bengdubi Army Camp in Bagdogra. During this, the Indian Army soldiers were honoured for their bravery.
Reportedly, the program commenced with the national anthem. During this, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Command Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari awarded the Gallantry Sena Medal to 20 brave soldiers, 2 Chief of Army Staff Certificate of Appreciation, and 32 units to the GOC in Eastern Command.
In this regard, Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari stated feeling elated to organize the program in Siliguri, the gateway to North-East India.
