East Bengal Fan Club holds protest in Siliguri against attacks on minorities in Bangladesh

Siliguri, 10th December: The Siliguri East Bengal Fan Club organized a protest rally near the Gandhi Statue on Monday condemning the attacks and mistreatment of minorities in Bangladesh. The protest was a part of a broader movement across West Bengal voicing unity with the victims of violence in Bangladesh.


Reportedly, the supporters and members of the East Bengal Fan Club gathered in large numbers to express their outrage over the ongoing attacks on religious and ethnic minorities in Bangladesh. The protest was led by Anup Basu, Secretary of the East Bengal Fan Club, along with other prominent members.

The protesters raised slogans and displayed placards, calling for an immediate end to the violence against minorities. According to club members, the rally was organized to send a strong message against the growing attacks on minority communities in Bangladesh.
