Fulbari, 11th December: Three people were injured after a collision between an e-rickshaw and a goods vehicle on Thursday afternoon at Amaidighi area along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway in Fulbari.
According to reports, an e-rickshaw carrying passengers from Fulbari towards Jatiakali collided with a goods vehicle coming from the opposite direction upon reaching Amaidighi. The impact severely damaged the front portion of the e-rickshaw and left the driver along with two passengers injured.
Local residents rushed to the spot and rescued the injured, sending them to a private hospital in Fulbari. Upon receiving information, officers from Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost and NJP Police Station arrived at the scene. Police have seized both vehicles and initiated an investigation into the accident.
