Siliguri, 11th July: Apart from petrol-diesel, the rising price of cooking gas is a matter of concern for all.
Funeral procession of inflation was taken out in Siliguri Haiderpara protesting against the increase in prices of cooking gas, on the call of DYFI, on Sunday. The party leaders and workers garlanded gas cylinders and also protested by walking with motorcycles and scooters.
Dipankar Saha, secretary of Dabgram South Local Committee, said that the demonstration was staged in view of the increasing price of cooking gas and petrol-diesel.
