Siliguri, 10 April : The West Bengal State Committee of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has called for a campaign at Uttar Kanya on April 13. State Secretary Minakshi Mukherjee held a press conference today at Anil Biswas Bhawan in Siliguri in this regard.
Addressing the media, Mukherjee presented several questions including the funds for 100 days work being stopped, the mid-day meals being slashed down and corruption in education. She added that the Uttar Kanya Abhiyan will be conducted to raise questions on these issues along with other demands of DYFI on April 13. Activists of the organization from different parts of the state will be taking part in the said campaign.
Furthermore, the DYFI State Secretary took a jibe at the central and state government on various issues. Later, she released the theme song prepared for the Uttar Kanya Campaign.
