Siliguri, 08th January: After Kolkata, a dry run of the COVID-19 vaccine commenced in Darjeeling district, on Friday. The dry run started in Naxalbari Rural Hospital, Darjeeling Sadar District Hospital, and Siliguri District Hospital.
In the first phase, the dry run began with doctors, nurses, and health workers at Siliguri District Hospital. A total of 25 people have been vaccinated.
Deputy Chief Health Officer-3 Dr Sanjukta Liu said that no vaccine would be given to the general public at the moment. When the antidote arrives in the first phase, it will be applied in accordance with the rules.
