Siliguri, 29th February: Indian Football Association’s (IFA) district-level football tournament will commence from April 2020 in Siliguri. The football tournament will be organized with the help of Sports Connect and the Siliguri Sub-divisional Sports Council.
On behalf of the Siliguri Sub-divisional Sports Council, Nantu Pal stated that the venue has not been decided yet, but the tournament will be organized at Kanchenjunga Stadium or Suryanagar Play Ground. The members of the Siliguri Sub-divisional Sports Council held a meeting with the members of Sports Connect and prominent football player Mihir Basu, on Saturday. It has been reported that the game will be organized on different grounds in 21 districts of Bengal. The members inspected the Kanchenjunga Stadium, today.
