Naxalbari, 09th August: The district administration of Naxalbari observed World Tribal Day with a grand celebration at the community hall on Friday.
As per reports, the event featured traditional tribal music and dance performances, distribution of Tapasil jati certificates, and planting of saplings. The event witnessed the presence of district magistrate, Preeti Goyal, along with other dignitaries including SMP Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Avad Singhal, and the Sahakari Sabhadhipati Roma Reshmi Ekka. The Sahakari Sabhadhipati Roma Ekka joined the tribal dance performances on stage.
