Disruption at Polling Booth: Allegations of interference raised against TMC in Jummagach of Rajganj

Rajganj, 08th July: As soon as the polling commenced in Jummagach of Sannyasikata, Rajganj, reports of disturbance emerged. The candidates and supporters of the CPI(M) and Congress alliance accused the Trinamool Congress of interfering in the polling process at booth number 18/121 since the morning. Consequently, a confrontation ensued between the two factions over this matter. Both groups gathered in front of the booth, armed with sticks and rods. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene, leading to a halt in the polling for approximately thirty minutes. Subsequently, voting recommenced. Nonetheless, supporters of Trinamool workers refuted these allegations, deeming them unfounded.
