Naxalbari, 12th February: A dispute over money led a son to attack his father with a sharp weapon. Due to this father and mother got injured. The horrific incident transpired on Saturday night at the godown line of Maryview Tea Garden in Naxalbari.
Reportedly, while going to a wedding function on Saturday evening, a dispute arose between the son and the father over money. Then son Philjus Toppo hit father Telesfar Toppo on the head with a sharp weapon. At the same time, the mother Chinta Toppo was injured while saving her husband. Later the local people rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.
The parents of the accused son have lodged a complaint at the Naxalbari police station regarding the incident. The Naxalbari police are probing the entire incident.
