Rajganj, 09th November: A large crowd of devotees gathered to celebrate the Chinnamastak Kali Puja in Sahudangi, drawing worshippers from various regions including Rajganj and across North Bengal.
The Chinnamastak Kali Puja was held on Friday in Ashram Para, adjacent to Sahudangi, within the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj Block. The event, which took place nearly seven days after the main Kali Puja, saw throngs of people arriving from Friday evening to honor the Mother Goddess.
According to members of the puja committee, the Chinnamastak Kali Puja is organized as a joint effort by the residents of Sahudangi and Paghalupara in Rajganj. This year, the puja featured significant traditional rituals, including the sacrifice of over two hundred goats and more than a thousand pigeons.
