Siliguri, 17th June: The detective department, based on a tip-off, launched operations at Bhalobasha More under NJP police station and arrested a youth with a firearm. The arrested accused has been identified as Danesh Mohammad, a resident of Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur district.
According to police sources, two rounds of ammunition, a 7 mm automatic pistol, two magazines, and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession. The arrested individual was produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
