Rajganj, 05th July: 31-year-old Azizur Rahman of Purba Balabari under Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat of Rajganj, has been missing for the past 16 days. Allegedly, no trace of him has been found despite filing a missing complaint at the Rajganj police station.
According to the family members, Azizur, the only son of Aahima Begum, went missing on June 19. Since his disappearance, his mother, with a picture of Azizur, has been desperately wandering from door to door in search of him.
Aahima Begum stated that her son had been mentally troubled for a while. Despite this, he used to go to work as he was the sole breadwinner of the family. With his disappearance, his mother is not only struggling emotionally but financially as well.
Local Panchayat member Shaukat Ali stated that Aahima has become helpless after the disappearance of her son. He also appealed to the administration to give importance and look into her case.
