Rajganj, 21st December: Rajganj and its surrounding areas woke up to the first dense fog of the season on Sunday morning, signaling the onset of winter.
The entire region was covered in a thick blanket of fog from early hours, reducing visibility and forcing vehicles to switch on their headlights even during the day.
Locals were seen keeping warm by lighting small fires in open spaces, while others enjoyed the cold with a cup of tea in hand. Many residents preferred to stay indoors, wrapped in shawls and blankets, reluctant to step outside into the chilly weather.
Areas including Ambari, Rajganj town, Belakoba, and neighboring localities were shrouded in fog since early morning. While the dense fog caused minor inconveniences, residents expressed delight at the arrival of the winter season and the accompanying cold weather.
