Siliguri, 18th September: On Monday, the death anniversary of late Councillor Krishna Chandra Pal was observed by the Krishna Chandra Pal Smriti Raksha Committee. Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb along with others present at the occassion remembered and paid homage to the former councillor.
According to reports, garlands were placed on the statue of Krishna Chandra Pal near Suryanagar Michael School. The event witnessed the presence of Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Ward No. 23 Councillor Lakshmi Pal, Municipal Corporation Chairman Pratul Chakraborty, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Madan Bhattacharya, Deepak Sheel, Amar Chandra Pal, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Papiya Ghosh and others.
