Siliguri, 22nd May: The Bhaktinagar police apprehended five individuals following accusations of attempting to seize the land of the Ramakrishna Mission in Siliguri and assaulting security personnel. On Wednesday, DCP East Deepak Sarkar addressed the media in a press conference regarding the situation.
As per reports, the primary accused in connection with the incident, Pradip Roy, is still at large despite the police’s efforts to locate him. Notably, Roy has also lodged a complaint, targeting several individuals including a member of the Ramakrishna Mission. Subsequently, the police initiated a non-bailable case against multiple individuals, including the member of the organization.
During the press conference, DCP Deepak Sarkar clarified that the land was originally gifted to the Ramakrishna Mission. However, Pradip Roy claims ownership through inheritance. Further investigation, including consultations with the land revenue department, has revealed that the official ownership of the land is not under the name of Pradip Roy. At present, the authorities are on a hunt for the absconding Pradip Roy.

and the party is absolutely despicable and unable to lead a government.
As per reports Pradip Ray had been to meet police to file an FIR against Ram Krishna Mission. Instead of arresting him on the earlier complaint of the victims of Ram Krishna Mission due to Ray’s vandalism the Police let him go after some discussion. Obviously he was told to remain in hide out so that police would come out with a statement that despite their best efforts Ray could not be traced.
