The toy train services of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) section, operated by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), have been suspended until August 31 due to adverse weather conditions.
The toy train operates between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling, passing through towns like Siliguri and Kurseong. However, authorities are concerned that the monsoon season poses a threat to the safety of tourists. As a result, the toy train service has been cancelled from July 20 and will remain suspended until August 31.
