Darjeeling, 12th June: Save Darjeeling COVID-19 Protection Committee, on Friday, announced that Darjeeling town will be completely shut down from Monday, June 15 to June 21 for a week. The decision comes after the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Darjeeling Hills.
No shops except for medicine and milk will be permitted to open. While transportation of milk, water and emergency services will be allowed to function.
Very very good decision by the committee to save our “Queen Of Hills” from this humanity enemy. But I think that the complete shut down should be done for 15 days i. e. upto 30th of June.
ya its a good decision
but tge hovt and community should provide some necessary things for the people in need
