Mungpoo, 28th July: Students who topped in their Secondary, Higher Secondary and ICSE examinations were felicitated by the Darjeeling Police today in a program. Dr. Santosh Nimbalkar IPS, SP, Darjeeling felicitated the students who passed with top rank with excelling marks across the district today.
On the other hand, on the initiative of Mungpoo police station in-charge Bijay Thami, the Darjeeling police honored Vishal Rai, a student of Rambi Gyanpeeth School in Mungpoo, Kashyap Gurung, a student of Saraswati School, Durgashri Kirodiwal and Namrata Chhetri of Santamangal Academy.
The felicitation program was graced with the presence of esteemed guests like Devendra Prakash Singh, Inspector General North Bengal, Songmit Lepcha, Deputy Inspector General Darjeeling Range and other top police officers of Darjeeling district as the chief guests.
