Siliguri, 20th September: The Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress raised voice against various issues including deprivation faced by Bengal, privatization of railways, and increased rate of unemployment amid the ongoing pandemic.
The organization members staged a sit-in protest at SF Road Siliguri on Sunday. Besides, several activists from different political parties joined TMC today.
Minister Goutam Deb, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress president Ranjan Sarkar, and other party workers were present during the protest programme.
Reportedly, TMC has been holding multiple programmes against the Center throughout the month of September.
