Darjeeling District TMC held a “Dhikkar” rally in protest of Sitalkuchi incident

Siliguri, 11th April: A “Dhikkar” rally was organized in Siliguri on behalf of the Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress (TMC) in response to the unfortunate incident of Sitalkuchi. The rally commenced from Baghajatin Park and concluded at the Air View More of Siliguri.


Reportedly, Darjeeling District TMC President Ranjan Sarkar and other party leaders and activists participated in the rally by putting a black batch.


It is to be noted, the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah was burnt at the Air View More, demanding Amit Shah’s resignation. Meanwhile, about 30 activists from other political parties under the leadership of Ranjan Sarkar joined the TMC party.
