Darjeeling district DYFI stage protest over frequent patient deaths in NBMCH

Siliguri, 17th October: The Darjeeling district Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) staged a protest in front of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital demanding proper medical services, on Sunday.


It is to be noted that a total of 117 patients have died since Durga Puja.

The members of the organization expressed outrage in front of the superintendent’s office today. Sachin Khati, the district president of the organization, said that such a situation has occurred due to the negligence of the government and the medical authorities. We will continue the movement to make medical services appropriate.
