Naxalbari, 11th June: In the wake of the district president’s departure from the party, the Darjeeling District Congress held a discussion meeting in Naxalbari on Wednesday to assess and strengthen its organizational structure.
The meeting was convened under the directive of the Pradesh Congress Committee and took place at the Congress party office in Naxalbari. Several senior district leaders engaged with local party workers to evaluate the current situation and reinforce the grassroots network.
Among those present were Darjeeling District Congress Convenor Subin Bhowmik, Amitabh Sarkar, Kuntal Goswami, Jiban Majumdar, and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Subin Bhowmik stated that the primary goal of the program was to fortify the organization and ensure that the party remains strong and active at the district level.
