Darjeeling District Chhatra Parishad stages a protest rally against the JNU violence

Siliguri, 06th January: The Darjeeling District Chhatra Parishad staged a protest rally against the attack on the JNU students in Delhi. The rally commenced from Venus More, Siliguri and then visited Sevoke road and eventually concluded at Venus more. Then the effigy of Amit Shah (Minister of Home Affairs) was burnt at Venus more. Shahnawaz Hossain (District President of the Chhatra Parishad) and various leaders including Town President Ashutosh Roy were present during the rally.
