Siliguri, 24th September: The Darjeeling District Chhatra Parishad handed over a 5-point memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor of North Bengal University.
Shahnawaz Hussain, district president of the organization, stated that a memorandum was handed over to the vice-chancellor of NBU with a demand to initiate admission of needy students free of cost and also to look into the issue concerning various unions and professors who take money for college admission.
General Secretary of the organization Ramesh Ram, District President Shahnawaz Hussain, Assistant President MD Imran, Kaushik Vaidya, and Ashutosh Roy were present while the memorandum was handed over.
