Naxalbari, 26th October: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista has offered financial support to the traders gravely impacted by the devastating fire that occurred in the Naxalbari Bazar on the eve of Mahalaya.
According to reports, about 39 impacted traders received Rs 10,000 each, on Thursday, at the Naxalbari Byabsayee Samiti Office. The donation was made on behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Raju Bista and represented by BJP District President Arun Mandal, a number of BJP leaders and activists, and members of the Naxalbari Byabsayee Samiti.
In this regard, BJP president Arun Mandal highlighted the initiative of MP Raju Bista to personally assist the impacted businessmen. He further added that the MP will work on the Naxalbari Bazar’s modernization and water project in the upcoming days.
