Siliguri, 12th October: The Dalit community in Siliguri raised voices against the Hathras incident. They are likely to stage a protest on October 20 in front of the statue of BR Ambedkar on behalf of Maharishi Valmiki Seva Sangha.
Organization’s North Bengal general secretary Niraj Balmiki said that similar incidents are on a rise in many places of North Bengal. They demanded a proper investigation into the incident and punishment of the culprits.
