Siliguri, 08th July: Amidst the multiple incidents of violence throughout the state, booth number 19/4 in the Bikash Nagar region under the Dabgram Gram Panchayat-I embraces a peaceful electoral procedure. No incidents of violence have been reported in the aforementioned locality with the serene conclusion of the panchayat polls.
Reports indicate that the supporters of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) could be spotted setting up temporary camps without any riot. Thus, the residents of the Bikash Nagar neighbourhood demonstrated that elections can be held without the existence of violence with their message of harmony and fraternity.
