Siliguri, 05th August: Dhirendra Roy, a resident of Jamurivita near Fulbari-1 Bhola More is a mason by profession. He and his wife Nanibala Roy have two daughters Anima and Sonika Roy.
Being the family’s breadwinner, Dhirendra Roy could not afford to complete his children’s education. The family is living under severe crisis at the moment, especially due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown.
After learning about the family’s helpless condition, Goutam Goswami, President of Dabgram Fulbari Block Yuva Trinamool Congress, on Wednesday, handed over ration to the needy family. Apart from this, Goswami assured them of taking all their responsibilities in the future.
In this context, he stated that from now on, he will bear the expenses of Anima and Sonika’s education. Besides, he also assured them of standing by their side in case of any difficulty.
