News Desk: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast torrential rain over parts of West Bengal and Odisha. Cyclonic storm “Midhili” is predicted to develop from a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal and cross the coast of Bangladesh on November 17 or early November 18.

As per reports, the storm is centered about 190 km east of Paradip (Odisha), 200 km south-southeast of Digha (West Bengal), and 220 km southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh). The IMD anticipates that Odisha won’t be significantly affected by the storm. However, some areas, including Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur, might see a lot of rain.
