Siliguri, 05th February: On Wednesday, a cycling rally organized by the Kolkata Traffic Headquarters to raise awareness about road safety concluded in Siliguri. The rally aimed to spread awareness among the general public about road safety measures.
The rally, which began on January 29th in Kolkata, reached Siliguri after covering various districts of the state in the past eight days. A total of 25 participants took part in the rally.
Upon arrival at the Siliguri Police Commissionerate ground, the participants were warmly welcomed by Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Biswa Chand Thakur, and other police officials.
Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar mentioned that the initiative was a collaborative effort between the West Bengal Traffic Headquarters and Kolkata Football Lovers, aimed at increasing public awareness about road safety.
