Siliguri, 21st February: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, today, a large number of devotees were gathered in the temples all over the country. A large number of devotees also gathered at the Chandmuni Temple in Darjeeling More, Siliguri, to worship Shiva. The devotees have been offering water to Shiva in the temple, since morning. Meanwhile, a fair has also been organized in the Chandmuni Temple premises on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
A pujari stated that the Chandmuni Temple was a sacred temple where the wishes of the devotees would be fulfilled within a year. Therefore, the devotees have a lot of faith in the temple. He further stated that a large number of devotees gather in the temple during the occasion of Maha Shivratri, every year. Devotees from Siliguri, as well as far off places, gathered at the Chandmuni Temple to worship Shiva, today.
