CPI(M) leader Sayan Bandyopadhyay criticises state government over Salt Lake Stadium chaos at Ambari

Rajganj, 13th December: CPI(M) leader Sayan Bandyopadhyay sharply criticised the West Bengal government over the chaotic situation at Salt Lake Stadium during a public meeting held on Saturday.

The gathering was organised by the All India Agricultural & Rural Workers Union (AIARWU) on the occasion of the third district conference of Jalpaiguri district, held at Targhera Maidan in Ambari, Rajganj block.

Sayan Bandyopadhyay, who was the chief speaker at the event, took aim at both the central BJP government and the state Trinamool Congress government. Referring to the Salt Lake Stadium, he remarked that the government is incapable of conducting proper TET and SSC examinations or organising a sports event effectively, claiming that “corruption and kickbacks are the only work this government engages in.”

Several other CPI(M) leaders from the state, district, and block levels were also present at the meeting. They highlighted various issues faced by working-class and rural labourers, urging stronger movements and protests to address these problems.
