Siliguri, 05th January: Former mayor Ashok Bhattacharya today handed over leaflets to the residents of Siliguri’s Ward No. 06 making multiple allegations against the present Municipal Board including poor drainage system, lack of drinking water in the entire Siliguri city. They alleged that TMC-run Siliguri Municipal Board has completely failed to address the problems of the city dwellers.
No. 02 Left Front Area Committee has organized a public relations program today. During this, the Left leaders interacted with the common people. Also, Ashok Bhattacharya said that on January 21, a rally will be taken out from Mahatma Gandhi Chowk to Hashmi Chowk, alleging the failure of the Trinamool-run Siliguri Municipal Board. He also added that after the rally, a protest demonstration will also be held at Hashmi Chowk.
