Rajganj, 29th August: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) staged a protest march in Rajganj to demand stringent punishment for those responsible for the heinous crime at the R.G. Kar Hospital.
According to reports, the march commenced from Lal School in Balabari and traversed through the area, with participation from men, women, and children. It is to be noted that the brutal rape and murder case at the R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital has led to widespread outrage across the state. Both political and non-political organizations have united in the call for justice.
On Thursday, the Rajganj CPIM held a protest march at the Balabari area of Rajganj. The march proceeded to the area under the Balabari area of Sannyasikata. CPIM workers demanded for the stringent punishment for the perpetrators involved in the incident.
