Siliguri, 08th August: The Darjeeling District Left Front organized a mourning procession in Siliguri to honor the memory of former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya.
The procession, which commenced on Thursday from Anil Biswas Bhawan, was attended by prominent CPI(M) leaders, including Ashok Bhattacharya and Jibesh Sarkar, along with other party activists. The route covered Hill Cart Road, Sevoke Road, and Bidhan Road before concluding back at Anil Biswas Bhawan.
Speaking at the event, Left leader Jibesh Sarkar expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Comrade Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and vowed to uphold the ideology and principles he championed.
