CPI(M) handed over memorandum demanding commencement of municipal service in Siliguri

Siliguri, 24th April: Amidst the second wave of COVID-19, the common people have been deprived of municipal services. In this regard, the coordinator of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) handed over a memorandum to Administrator Surendra Gupta, seeking commencement of the city services at the earliest.


Meanwhile, the second wave of COVID-19 has brought the country into a timid situation. CPI(M) coordinators alleged that the Siliguri Municipal Corporation is ignorant about the current stressful situation.

As per the sources, CPIM(M) coordinator accompanied by former Siliguri CPI(M) MLA Ashok Bhattacharya, visited the municipal corporation and submitted a memorandum to the administrator.
