Siliguri, 28th May: After a gap of a month and a half, domestic flight operations resumed on Wednesday.
The first flight took off from Bagdogra airport for Kolkata following all the government protocols. Airport Director P. Subramaniam stated that every passenger was thermally screened before being allowed to enter the airport. Besides, security checks were held and social distance was maintained among all the passengers.
He further informed that a total of 6 flights from Bagdogra Airport will take off today for Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati, and various other states.
