COVID-19 Latest updates: Over 67,000 COVID-19 cases in India, death toll rises to 2206

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that the total COVID-19 cases in India have risen to 67,152. This includes 44,029 active cases, 2206 deaths, and 20,917 cured/discharged. 4213 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.
