According to the latest data released by the Union Ministry of Health, the total COVID-19 cases in India have crossed the 23,000 – mark on Friday morning with current numbers at 23,452 while 4814 have been cured of the virus.
Meanwhile, in West Bengal, 51 new positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of positive cases escalated to 385 on Friday.
The state has confirmed 18 deaths due to COVID-19 to date.
