Alipurduar, 28th May: Four residents of Falakata in Alipurduar district tested COVID-19 positive yesterday.
According to sources, the four, after returning from a different state, stayed in the Jateshwar Quarantine center for 14 days and then returned home. As their reports came back positive yesterday evening, they were immediately taken to the Matigara COVID Hospital. Meanwhile, Alipurduar district CMOH Puran Kumar Sharma held a meeting along with the administrative officials of Falakata block on Thursday, where it has been decided that the particular areas will now be considered as containment zones.
