Siliguri, 06th April: After initiating the sanitization work in Ward No. 8 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation on Sunday, BJP Councilor Khushboo Mittal conducted the sanitization of the ward today as well.
Councilor Mittal stated that special sanitization measures are being initiated in the area to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
On Sunday, disinfectants and sanitizers were sprayed in adjoining areas of the ward such as Nehru Road, Naya Bazar and SP Mukherjee Road with the help of sprinkler machines. Apart from this, awareness related to prevention and precautions against the Coronavirus was spread among the general public.
Today, the Kalinath Road, premises behind the Urvashi Cinema Hall, Vidyasagar Road and MR Road were sanitized. The Councilor stated that it is her responsibility to keep the ward clean and its people healthy.
