Siliguri, 19th March: The GTA Chairman Anit Thapa requested the tourists not to come to Darjeeling, from tomorrow, amidst the coronavirus outbreak. The GTA, on Wednesday, held discussions with various hotel owners and tourism business associates. Hotels had also been instructed to deny new bookings.
A lot of vehicles returned to Siliguri from Darjeeling, today morning. Meanwhile, a thermal screening of the passengers is being conducted at Simulbari.
On the other hand, the GTA Chairman Anit Thapa inspected various screening camps, today.
