Siliguri, 15th March: The entire country has been witnessing an atmosphere of panic regarding the Novel coronavirus. The effects of growing concerns over coronavirus are now being acutely felt in Siliguri too.
Therefore, keeping in mind the safety of the tourists, Siliguri’s Bengal Safari Park authorities have taken strict precautionary measures.
Sanitizers are being used in the entrance and safari cars around 3-4 times a day. Besides, masks and gloves are being provided to the park workers.
Bengal Safari Park Ranger Deepak Rasaily stated that hand sanitizers are being used 3 to 5 times daily under the direction of the state government and thermal scanning will be done for tourists in the future. He further stated that awareness posters have been hung in the entire park premises.
