Jalpaiguri, 21 March: With the coronavirus pandemic creating a stir all over the world, shops are being crowded by people hoarding essential commodities. Taking advantage of this, some traders have now engaged in black marketing.
Upon receiving the news, the Jalpaiguri Police launched a campaign to stop the racket. The police launched a campaign in the vegetable shops, fish and meat shops adjacent to Dinbazar, Station Bazar, on Saturday morning. During the campaign, the police warned that the essential items must not be sold at a high price.
