Siliguri, 16th March: The entire country has been witnessing an atmosphere of panic regarding the Novel Coronavirus.
In this regard, the North Bengal State Transport Corporation (NBSTC) has taken precautionary measures and requested the people to avoid traveling during flu-like symptoms. The authorities have also planned to put up awareness posters on every bus.
Meanwhile, masks and hand gloves are being provided to bus drivers and conductors from remote areas. Conductors have been directed to not carry sick passengers and send them to the hospital. Besides, various buses are being thoroughly washed at the Siliguri depot to get rid of the germs.
