Kolkata, 01st April: During a press conference at Nabanna, State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged the state residents to stay indoors for the next 2 weeks as the upcoming 14 days is the most crucial time to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The CM asked everyone to purchase essential commodities in the market maintaining social distance (a minimum of 1 m). She further added that 18 thousand 363-liter sanitizers have been provided to the hospitals and 1 lakh 11 thousand 3 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and 42, 296 masks have been provided so far.
Banerjee stated that all those from WB who have participated at the event in South Delhi’s Nizamuddin are being identified and will be immediately tested for COVID-19 and put under mandatory 14 days quarantine.
