Cooch Behar, 19th July: After the Chairman of Cooch Behar Municipality Bhushan Singh tested positive for coronavirus, the municipality has been shut down for the next three days. However, emergency services will remain functional.
Reportedly, the number of positive cases is rising rapidly in the entire Cooch Behar district. According to the district administration sources, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the district reached 394 on Saturday. Meanwhile, 339 have recovered and the number of active cases stands at 55.
