Cooch Behar man kidnapped on pretext of job promise, 5 arrested

Cooch Behar, 17th February: Five people were held by the Pundibari Police on the charge of holding a youth hostage on the pretext of job promise.
According to the Pundibari Police, they received a report of the youth who had been taken into hostage by the five men by promising him a job in a private institution.
Based on the report, the police launched a campaign in the Takagachh area and arrested the five accused. The Cooch Behar court, today, sent the accused to five days of police remand in connection with the incident.
