Rajganj, 22nd December: An incident of mishap surfaced from Fatapukur in Rajganj, where a pickup van loaded with vegetables was damaged after being hit by a recklessly driven container truck. However, the driver of the pickup van narrowly escaped.
According to reports, on Thursday night, at around 9.30 p.m., a pickup van carrying vegetables was heading towards Siliguri from Maynaguri. As the pickup reached Fatapukur More in Rajganj, a container coming from the opposite direction rammed into the vehicle. Consequently, the pickup van was damaged. Fortunately, the driver Alok Chandra Roy narrowly escaped unhurt.
Upon receiving the news, the cops of Rajganj police station arrived at the spot, recovered the pickup van, and took it to the police station. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
